Terrazze del Duomo di Milano

The terrace on the top of the cathedral Duomo in Milan is for me the most beautiful place in the whole city. This is my favorite place in Milan, it is a real architectural masterpiece and I liked the marble/stone from which the entire church is made. Did you know that the Duomo is the fifth largest Christian church in the world? And it has the most statues on the gothic-style than any other building in the world, there are around 3400 statues and figures on it. From the top of the terrace you can also see a breathtaking view of Milan. Also overlooking Milan is Duomo's famous Madonnina, the golden statue standing proudly on the cathedral's highest spire. So if you visit Milan, Duomo must be on the top of your sightseing list.
